My relationship with the countryside has been a living one since I was small; my parents both worked in the fields, as well as having a sheep and goat farm. I love contact with the land, it is something I need, and it brings me wellbeing.

The basis of organic farming is to respect and care for the land. With healthy land the work is already done and it’s easy to manage. Through my parents I have always lived in organic farming, where we use the waste from animals to nourish the land. And we never rely on chemical products, since these noticeably affect the animals.

There is a myth that there’s less production from organic farming, but that’s not true. I think it’s the opposite, but what conventional food companies want is for us to become dependent on them; they don’t want free people… in any way.

I consider myself lucky in life; I feel free and I think I “do my bit”, because my lands are an oasis of life. No matter how you look at it, they are full of life, both fauna and flora. It is a joy when people who try my products tell me how delicious they are, and the difference they notice compared to others. It makes me feel I am on the right path, trying to provide quality and health.
