My life has always been linked to agriculture; my parents were farmers, as were their parents. We have agriculture in our genes.
About 15 years ago I became responsible for organising and tending the different crops we have in our garden, with the help and advice of my parents. After a while I realised I wanted to work using organic methods, and that’s where the struggle began to get to where I am today. In my organic garden, learning every day from nature… this is what really teaches you.
In four years I’ve been able to see how the garden’s natural biodiversity has been reconstructed, creating its own balance, and how chemicals destroy that natural balance completely. We treat our soil with manure and fight pests with natural products – and then only if necessary. Fruit is harvested by assessing its quality at all times, and by picking at the optimal moment we guarantee an exquisite flavour for the consumer.
Now my goal is to continue learning from nature, to try new, different types of crops, and to keep aiming to achieve the highest quality for our customers.
