Our Logistics, step by step
Our cooperative faces constant challenges in bringing together scattered production and ensuring it reaches its destination with care and commitment.
Each delivery requires planning, coordination and effort, because although the road is complicated, it reflects our dedication and the consistency in our values.
At Tierra y Libertad, we know that what we do is not easy
Our cooperative brings together producers separated by hours of driving, hundreds of kilometers, and harvest calendars that do not always align. Concentrating everything in a single place would have been simpler. But we chose a different path – the one that brings us together: a shared way of practicing agroecology, caring for our crops and our customers, and sustaining a diverse network rooted in each territory, because we believe in living agriculture. But we really are very far apart!
So, every order is a new challenge. Some days, a truck departs directly from Jesús or José’s farm with a pallet freshly harvested. Other times, small harvests – perhaps loquats, grapefruits, and onions – must first meet in the Guadalhorce Valley, where we reorganise loads, adjust routes, and coordinate timing so they can continue their journey to places like France or Belgium. This can mean reworking plans that already seemed settled. It always demands responsibility.
Our logistics are not simple; they are the result of many people thinking, coordinating, and solving problems so that everything arrives as it should.
It is hard. We did not choose this path because it was easy – it isn’t – but because it is the only one that allows us to stay true to what we believe in and not fail either those who produce or those of you who are waiting for our products.
That is why we keep fine-tuning every route and overcoming every obstacle with a very clear commitment: no matter how complex the journey may be, we will do everything possible to ensure that what is born in our fields reaches you in the best possible way. Being difficult does not stop us; it defines us. But sometimes… how difficult it is!
