This is the Guadalhorce. The river never overflows here, historically it never overflowed on this side. Look what happened, look what I have here... My grandaughter is 8 years old, back then she was 6. There are fish here? Yes, yes. There are barbel, eels and turtles. Well, you can imagine, a girl of 6 years old, and a grandfather that has to do everything she says. She wanted to fish. Ok, good. So we made this opening so we could get down to the river. One day we came here to fish, and after 5 minutes she tells me it was really boring. We have never returned to fish again, we have never caught a fish here! But thats ok, that’s how it is...
